Jenny Lowbush Organic Blueberry Plant
This wild lowbush was found growing in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and is a short-statured blueberry even for lowbush. In cultivation it gets larger than the 6″ tall it reaches in the wild. Nothing like a little TLC to help them double their size and production for the home garden. Jenny reaches 12-14″ in our plantings, and has large clusters of very small, sweet, deep-blue fruits covering it’s branches. This lowbush blueberry has fiery orange-red color for fall. Jenny is a great find, and it amazes me each year how much it produces on such a small little bush.
