Description
Baby Blue Lowbush Organic Blueberry Plant
This wild, lowbush blueberry was originally collected in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, in Luce County. This plant was growing along the south coast of Lake Superior, and was the shortest-growing lowbush blueberry growing in this beautiful area. Berries are sweet, light blue, and of the wild size (small). Height in cultivation is about 4-8″ tall and low to the ground. Beautiful light green foliage with small leaves in summer gives way to deep red in the fall. Tolerates partial shade but will be most productive in full sun. Selected and originally propagated by Dan Hartmann.
Hardy in USDA zones 3-7
